The pictures are generally on Les Arches watercolour paper, usually Hot Press for the coloured ones and either Rough or Not for the black and white. They're drawn with mapping pens using Indian ink, sometimes with a brush and watercolour , (as in "A tub and three men"), or pencil. Colour is either watercolour, pastels, crayon or ink. They're relatively small, 18" x 13", usually.
